Just when we thought we'd get rid of this blonde fuss-maker, he comes up with a great move. He dives into the MMA octagon and even comes up with his own platform.
25-year-old YouTuber Jake Paul stepping into the ring as an MMA fighter, who would have ever thought? We still recognize him as that annoying kid from YouTube , but it still seems that this blonde brat has matured a lot. He still turns the whole internet upside down with his older brother Logan Paul . And now he even seems to step back into the ring. After a victory against former UFC fighter Anderson Silva, he is now challenging MMA veteran Nate Diaz to a match. First by boxing against him and then another MMA fight. Hope it turns out fine:
Jake Paul in the Professional Fighters League
Yet that's not the only news that Jake Paul announces. He is now officially signed as an MMA fighter with the Professional Fighters League. It's possible you've never heard of it before. Even for many UFC fans, this organization is not immediately familiar. This is probably going to be one of the biggest organizations next to the UFC, maybe even bigger! With a few clever moves from Jake Paul, Dana White may soon be able to pack his bags. MMA fighter Jake Paul has made a very smart move. And it conjures up the sweat on the forehead of UFC boss Dana White. Which, by the way, Jake Paul is already fed up with. But Jake is far from done with Dana!
Difference between the UFC and Professional Fighters League?
Many fighters were dissatisfied with the UFC. At the UFC, as a fighter you get about 20% of the turnover of your fight. That is strangely little. Especially since as a fighter you do all the hard work (literally and figuratively) and then UFC pocket more than half of your income. That will change with the new MMA division that Jake Paul is co-founder of; the PFL Pay Per View Super Fights Division . The plan is that Jake Paul will promote fights of this organization on his Instagram. Then fighters earn at least 50% of their fight revenue here. From now on, the UFC no longer has a monopoly position!
Jake Paul's Next Fight!
So it could be that we will be hearing a lot more from the Professional Fighters League in the future. Because if you can suddenly earn a lot more, then the choice as a fighter is also quickly made, right? So now the big question is who will be Jake Paul's next opponent. Could this still be Nate Diaz? Or will it be Jake Paul against Andrew Tate ?
You know what would be really horrifying, by the way? If this blonde blowhead goes up against Conor McGregor. Both could use a reality check right now!ca
